'Nfu - Oh' Swatch & Review Feature Week, Day 6 - Nail Art Special Part 1

Thanks for joining me here on my blog today, if you have been following over the last few days you will know that I have been having a swatchathon of Nfu - Oh polishes sent to me for review from CRUSH COSMETICS, and the special feature week is now coming to end with 2 days of nail art created exclusively with the polishes I have swatched over this last week!

This is part 1 of the concluding nail art feature, I have 2 designs for you today and 2 more tomorrow.
I have created todays designs with a combination of polishes from the creme collection, the holo collection, and the glitter collection, to show you how you can combine these polishes with simple methods to achieve stunning nail art!

This first design is done with simple stamping using Nfu - Oh holo 61 as the base and Nfu - Oh Creme 517 for the stamping with plate BM - 208. The reason I decided to do this mani is because this particular creme polish seemed quite heavily pigmented and I believed it might work well for stamping. I always have difficulty finding well pigmented colours for stamping, so I held high hopes for this one and was happy to discover that it did not disappoint! The mistake in this mani was not remembering beforehand that the holograhic base does not hold up well with top coat, and stamping needs a top coat to finish and protect so I lost the holo effect for this photo. It was still visible, just not very vibrant.

The next design I did is really simple but so popular, and it's a really nice glitter tip gradient. I fell in love with the Nfu - Oh GS07 scattered holo glitter after I swatched it, and I knew it would be perfect for a glitter tip gradient. For the base I chose the Nfu - Oh creme 354 in this baby pink mainly because I wanted a nice solid colour for the base, but I was not prepared for just how well this combination really worked. These polishes looked sooooo good together, and I couldn't stop staring at my hands with this on! My husband commented ''It's a good job you don't drive, you would have killed us already with how distracted you are by those nails!''.

I then had to take a picture slightly out of focus to give a better indication of the effect of the holo glitter that my camera doesn't catch so well, and so that you could see the colour and sparkle that distracted me so much!

I hope you enjoyed todays designs, tomorrow I bring 2 more that although just as simple to do, have a bit more of the WOW factor!
